Hiwin is committed to implementing the following management principles in order to enforce the safety and health policy:
1. Comply with or exceeding the “safety and health” regulations and standards of domestic and international operation locations. With the goal of zero accidents, we are committed to steady development with safety as priority.
2. Promote the concept of safety and health management, establish effective channels for consultation, communication and feedback, encourage workers and supply chain partners to consult and participate in decision-making on safety and health issues, and create a positive working environment.
3. Identify both internal and external health and safety risks and opportunities. Develop improvement sequences and action plans based on the severity of the impact. Effectively manage hazards and reduce occupational health and safety risks.
4. Establish quantifiable health and safety performance goals, enhance management performance in health and safety through continuous improvement, strengthen the physical and mental health of employees, and strive for an accident-free workplace.
5. Implement supervision, measurement and improvement of the performance of the "safety and health" management system, and ensure the applicability of the safety and health management system. Regularly report the progress of occupational safety and health promotion to the board of directors. The board of directors serves as the supervisory unit.
